Optus launched the Nothing Phone (3) in Australia on July 15, 2025, making it the exclusive telco partner for the device. Customers could pre-order from July 2nd and received a free pair of Nothing headphones with plans purchased before August 2nd. The partnership also includes other Nothing models like the 3a and 3a Pro.

A series of in-store and internal activations were created to launch the partnership in Australia, including a competition to see how long you could stand in front of a screen - doing nothing. An in store point of sale cube displaying animations of the phones in a transparent cube.
